流動的生命線   Flowing lifeline   2015-2016

       人的一生都會為某些人或一些事件的目標而努力,而通常我們見不到生活中留存的影像或軌跡,因它只存在於腦海裡,時間久了就會像夢一樣逐漸被淡忘了,剩下的只是模糊的片段記憶,為了將這些難得的影像保留與呈現,我花了很長的時間籌備與研究如何才能將平面的影像使其有立體感與刻劃出時間的軌跡。

一張好的照片不但可以引起感人的共鳴,在你逐漸體會作品可以為自己帶來心靈上不同層次的提昇,也因為一張有生命感的照片令你動容,那已經是一種難以言喻的藝術境界,就如一幅畫一樣,訴說著畫家的一生,他的愛情與歷史背景和感人故事,照片裡我想要表達的就是「Emotion」和「Vitality」,拍下一張有感情的畫面因其具有生命力量而憾動人心.

 

這系列作品原本是以彩色拍攝,為了呈現出悠久的歷史紀錄,最終決定以黑白加上少許的彩色來表現作品所代表的時代意義,為了能夠在白天拍攝具有流動感的人事物,而且要兼具作品的細膩質感,其間我研讀了一些攝影理論並自創了「時空概念」(Temporal and Spatial concept)攝影法,並以「分區曝光法」(Zone system 1941-安瑟‧亞當斯)的理論來實際運用於拍攝的當下.

 

效法愛因斯坦簡單就是美理論，只使用單一彩色，利用黑白的基本色調，並在日間使用特殊方法拍攝長時間曝光,在不斷的嚐試和數種技巧運用下完成了心中的創意,「我希望將平面的影像變成有立體感,並讓原本凝結的平面照片影像,產生流動感,形成有生命力量表現的立體影像」.

  

       在這充滿思念的土地上,人們徘徊在夢想與幻想之間,許多遠離家園的人一起來到這個城市築夢,永遠為了生活和周遭的人們競爭與周旋,一些失敗者自然也會悄然的消失於茫茫人海中,麵包、愛情、與慾望,早已將鄉愁掩蔽並不斷的撕裂人心,最後剩餘的良知價值觀也真是少的可憐,然而歲月也隨著時光悄悄流逝了,如今夢依然在做,生活仍然在過,這生命風景承載著人生的多少悲歡離合.

 

西門町是台北市大多數人從小以來的回憶,照片裡有約會的情侶,舉廣告牌和遊行工作者,公車計程車穿梭其中形成雙色醒目車軌,出現在大樓中的教會,影城徒步區無數的晃動人影,人物裡有靜止的也有動態流動的,搭配著「周杰倫」引人注目的機車廣告看板,說明了來自這個時代的過程脈動與歷史變遷,而我只是利用相機紀錄下了屬於我們的時間與夢想.

Flowing lifeline  2015-2016

   
    People work for some people or events in their whole life. We usually can’t see the image or trajectory left by life, because it exists only in the mind, and is gradually forgotten like a dream after a long time, only fuzzy fragments of memory remain.  In order to preserve and present these rare images, I spent a long time to prepare and study how to make plane images stereoscopic and characterize time trajectory.

 

A good picture not only can cause emotional resonance and can bring different levels of ascension for themselves when you gradually understand the works. Besides, photos with vitality touch you, which is a sense of inexplicable art, such as a picture, telling the artist's life, his love and the historical background and the touching story of that picture. What I want to express is the 「emotion」 and 「vitality」 in the pictures. It is the life force in the pictures that greatly impress people’s heart.

 

This series of works were originally photographed in color. In order to show a long history of records, it was ultimately decided to add a little color to black and white to present the significance of times. In order to shoot humans and things with a sense of flowing during the day, and delicate spirits of works, I read some photographic theory during this time and put up with "space concept" (Temporal and Spatial concept) in photography, and applied "partition" (Zone system 1941- Ansel Adams) theory to practice in shooting.

 

To follow Einstein is to follow pretty simple theory, only using a single color. By using black and white colors, and take a long time exposure with special methods in the daytime. After a continuing experience and usage of a number of techniques, I finally realized my creative ideas. I hope to turn the plane image into a stereoscopic one, and add a sense of flowing to the original plane setting image, forming  stereoscopic pictures with life force.

 

      In this land full of pining for home, people wandering between dreams and fantasies. many people away from home came to the city together to pursue dreams, always competing and dealing with people around for their livings. Some of the losers will naturally quietly disappear in the boundless huge crowd.

 

Bread, love and desire have already hide their nostalgia and continue to tear their heart, with the last remaining conscience values really being poor. However, the years also disappears as time goes by quietly. And now still have the dream of doing and life is still going on. The scenery of life carries many vicissitudes of life.

 

Ximending is memories of most people since childhood in Taipei city. In photographs, there are dating couples, billboards and workers in the demonstrations. The bus taxi shuttle between them which formed double color eye-catching railways. The church in the building, numerous shaking figures in Cinema precinct, characters in static or in dynamic flow, paired with "Jay Chou" compelling locomotive billboards, indicating the pulsation process and its historical changes from this era, and I just use camera to record our time and dream that belong to us.
